Countdown at
The Resorts

7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(All shops open at 7:00
a.m.)
The last Countdown Pin Event leading up to
the Pin Event of the Year
will be head quartered at Disney's Contemporary
Resort.

Limit of 2 pins per person, per day.
Remaining quantities of both the 100
Years of Magic Countdown Pin
and the Minnie Statue of Liberty Pin will
be released
property wide on Monday July 2, 2001.
Wristbands/Vouchers
Guests will enter through Magic Kingdom’s
Auto Plaza
after Magic Kingdom® Park has cleared.
No specific time is
noted, and it will depend on when the parking
lots have cleared.
Wristband distribution will begin at 5:30 am.
As cars enter into the Lot they will be numbered
for their
PLACE IN LINE ONLY.
This number will be placed on each cars’
dashboard. The
number of people in each car will be noted
on the numbered ticket.
This number, along with the wristband, will
allow guests to
park at Disney’s CONTEMPORARY Resort.
Guests must be in their cars to be “banded”
starting at 5:30 am.
Cars will be released out of the Grumpy
Parking Lot in
approximately 25 at a time, in order to
allow for proper traffic flow.
Guests will then drive over to Disney’s Contemporary
Resort and park
in the parking lot for the day. Wristbands
will be
distributed from 5:30-7:30 am in the Grumpy
Parking Lot.
After 7:30 am, all cars should go directly
to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Wristbands will then be distributed out
of the 2nd floor
Registration Area (located right off the
escalator.)
Bands will be distributed in the following order:

Guests who arrive at the Grumpy Parking Lot
to get a wristband, will receive a map at
the same time.
Guests choosing to arrive directly at Disney’s
CONTEMPORARY Resort,
will receive a complimentary map outlining
their
adventure for the day, “Hunt for Pintopia”
at the same location
remaining wristbands are distributed.
Maps will be distributed beginning at 7:30
am until 4:00 pm
at Disney’s CONTEMPORARY Resort.
Guests will be traveling to the Monorail
Resorts trading pins
or answering trivia questions in an effort
to collect 6 unique bug stamps.
Once they have all the stamps, they will
return to
Fantasia at Disney’s CONTEMPORARY Resort
to redeem their map
for their complimentary “Butterfly” collectible
pin no later than 5 pm.
Artist Appearances
Walt Disney World artists, Jeff Ebersohl,
Randy Nobel
and Linda Rodgers will be appearing and
sharing in the excitement of this pin event.

Merchant Teams from Walt Disney World and
Disney's California Adventure will preview
upcoming pins from 10:00 a.m. ~ 2:00 p.m.
Guests will be limited to eight (8) pins signed per artist per entry.
Redemption Area
Fantasia at Disney's
Contemporary Resort will be the point of
redemption for all
guests who have completed
their Hunt for Pintopia.
Additional Information
A limited quantity of preframed Hunt
for Pintopia
pin sets will be available at Disney’s CONTEMPORARY
Resort
for $130.00 (plus the cost of each open
edition pin plus tax, available
in Fantasia at Disney’s CONTEMPORARY Resort,
which is the final stop of the hunt.)
