Vouchers

All Limited Edition pins are available by voucher only.
Guests will receive their voucher at the Palm Court
beginning at 5:30 a.m. on the morning of the event.
This voucher will allow the guest to purchase a
maximum of two (2) of the pins specified on the voucher,
provided they are in line at Island Mercantile
by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 22nd.

Once all the vouchers have been handed out, guests will receive
standby vouchers listing the pin or pins they will have
an opportunity to purchase should there be any remaining quantities.
Guests must be in line at Island Mercantile no later than 1:00 p.m. on
Sunday, April 22nd for the opportunity to purchase any remaining pins,
with a maximum of 2 per person, per design.
 

The Dino-Rama! Opening 2002 pin will be available
at Chester and Hesters Dinosaur Treasures.
 

Pin Adventure!!

At Palm Court as guests receive their pin voucher, they will
also receive a complimentary Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
Pin Adventure Guide (also referred to as the Field Guide).
The Adventure Guide will walk guests through the footsteps of an
explorer who discovered all the wonders of Disney’s Animal Kingdom®.
Guests will be exploring designated shops where they will either
answer a trivia question or trade a pin with a Cast Member
to receive a special animal stamp.

Once they have received all of the stamps and completed
their adventure, guests will return to Island Mercantile for their
completor stamp and redeem their guide for a complimentary
Disney’s Animal Kingdom 3rd Anniversary pin.

Plus, each open edition pin has a corresponding
water mark location on the field map where it can
be placed to enhance the Adventure Guide.

Once completed, the Adventure Guide
can be framed as a memory of the guest's adventures in the park.
There will be special framing
available for the guest to have their guide framed for $130.00.
 

Artist Appearances

Disney artists Mark Seppala and Michelle Morrow
will available at the Up Country Landing Boat Dock
from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Mark Seppala designed the  Earth Day 2001 pin
Michelle Morrow designed the Artistry of the Earth pin and the Adventure Guide

Guests will be limited to a maximum of eight (8) autographs per entry.
 

Upcoming Pin Releases!!

Guests will be able to preview the latest
and greatest pin releases for Walt Disney World at the
Up Country Landing Boat Dock from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
with our merchant team, Lee Ann Claflin and Betsy Singer.
 

Pinformation Bookmark

Guests will receive a Pin Information Bookmark along
with their pin vouchers and Adventure Guide in Palm Court.
This Pin Information Bookmark will also be available
at Island Mercantile Pinformation Center (located at the pin porch).
This bookmark will state all event policies and procedures,
as well as the sales location for each pin.

General Information

Guests may arrive via Toll Plaza as early as 5:00 a.m.

Voucher distribution will begin at 5:30 a.m. at Palm Court.

Breakfast foods such as coffee, juice, bagels and danish will
be available for purchase for all of the early guest arrivals in the parking lot.

The park will open at 8:00 a.m.

April 20, 2001 ~ Update

 Be advised that the Pin Trading Station Pin with the
Rhino will not be available at the event.
The pin may be released later during the week of 4/23/01.
   Additionally, as this pin is part of the core assortment, it may be ordered over the
phone after the event by calling Mail Order Guest Services at 407-363-6200.

Regarding the Pin Adventure, once guests have received all
of the stamps and completed their pin adventure, they will return to
Island Mercantile for their completor stamp and redeem their guide for a complimentary
Disney’s Animal Kingdom 3rd Anniversary pin, which at this time, will not be available
when you redeem your guide.  The guest will have the option of having
their complimentary pin either mailed to them at no cost or
they can pick it up at a later date.

All guests redeeming their guide will also receive a
special “bonus” collectible pin as a free gift.
