Early Registration Pin

Guests that register for this event by June 7, 2008 will received one (1) limited edition early registration pin. The edition size of this pin will be determined once early registration has been completed on June 7, 2008.

Early Booking Discount

Guests that register for this event by July 7, 2008 will receive an early booking discount. The early booking admission for this event will be $100.00 per Guest. After July 7, 2008, the event admission will be $115.00 per Guest. Theme Park admission to Epcot® is not included in the price of event admission, but is required for attendance.

Specially Designed Pins

Four specially designed limited edition pin collections have been created for Disney's Pin Celebration 2008.

"Most Likely To..." - Pin Trading University is home to a diverse group of students, each with their own talents and interests.
Clubs - Students attending Pin Trading University find time to involve themselves in social clubs of varying interests.
Role Call - PTU's student body ranges from mice to monsters, princesses to aliens. It is through this diversity that Pin Trading University achieves its success.

Update January 14, 2008

The Pin Trading Team has a new logo for the event and slightly modified name for Disney's Pin Celebration 2008. The updated logo features Mickey Mouse and the name has been modified from "PTU: School of Trading" to "Pin Trading University" - just keeping it simple.

Did you know that planning for Disney's Pin Celebration 2008 began last July? The Disney Design Group Artists have created outstanding artwork for this three-day event. There will be four collections of pins - "Most Likely To..." (or Superlatives); Clubs; Role Call; and Schedule. Below is a sneak preview of a pin from the "Schedule" collection. Stay tuned during the next few months for more information about Disney's Pin Celebration 2008.

Here is another sneak peek at a few pins to be released at Pin Trading University. These images feature four different pins from four different pin collections from this event. From What's HapPINing at Disneypins.com: On a related note, the theme for this year's Pin Celebration was inspired by "school." It was felt that "school" was something that everyone knows in some fashion, such as high school or college. The pins created for this event were inspired by elements from those types of schools (in other words, some high school mixed with a little college). The name "Pin Trading University" was liked more than "Pin Trading High School." The name "high school" could have been associated with other "high schools" Disney has created (i.e. Sky High or High School Musical, which are not themes that will be presented in this event - though they are both great movies!). They also thought of "Disney University," which provides extensive training and educational learning opportunities for thousands of Disney Cast Members around the world. Disney University is not an actual university that anyone can attend; it doesn't have a principal or a football team. But, one can immediately understand that it is a place of learning just by including the word "university." As additional artwork is revealed in the coming months, you will begin to see those "high school" elements and those elements that could be applicable to "college." Ultimately, this event will be the interpretation of what "Pin Trading University" would be like if the world famous Disney Characters could actually attend such a school.
