Cruisin' with Dizpins
Ralph's Cruise Diary
Chapter III

From the Ralph Cruise Diary....
Morning at Castaway Cay was great! The Mystery pin was a great surprise.

Pin trading was in FULL EFFECT until the wee hours of the morning. Mickey Mates opened once again to great crowds as the remainder of ANY pins left went on sale!
I think if they were going to attach paper clips to washers just to have something to sell that they could pass off as a pin! LOL!

Dizpins had the Chinese Auction today!

That was a definite HIT! You got tickets for trading in pins. 2 tickets for LE 5,000 and higher. 3 Tickets for 3,500 - 2500, and so on.

You put one half of the ticket in a cup the other half you kept. What cup you ask? Well the cups with numbers on them! What were the numbers? Well there was a board with pin on it! Mystery Tink Pin, The Framed Sorcerer Mickey Set, Cast ID pin, I Love Dizpins pins and LOTS OF VERY COOL PINS.

Once everyone was all done we drew one ticket from each cup. That person got the pin! One enterprising young trader got lucky enough to win the Framed set AND the Mystery Tink pin! Of course he almost emptied his pin book to get tickets! Certainly has the bug bad that one! Congrats to him. Marlene knows his name and can fill you in on the rest of the winners. Lots of fun!

All the DIZPINS cruisers met at 10:30 PM in the Atrium for a group photo on the stairs.

Finally some faces that you can put with screen names. I think once everyone gets in we will have to start a thread about that pic! Something like ...I am the one in the Green shirt on the right...etc. Should be real fun too!

How sad for it to be the final day of the cruise! Tomorrow we have to get up at 6:45 to eat breakfast! They we get shuttled off the ship. People are getting their bills delivered to their rooms tonight and lets just say Disney had a VERY $U$$E$$FUL cruise! Want to see a Pin Cruizer?? Look for melted plastic in their pocket. Remnants of credit cards of days past. : ) We also were informed about customs...seems you are limited to $400.00 in purchases and above that you have to pay tax! YIKES! Most peoples first purchases FAR exceeded that!

I don't remember if I mentioned it but the Artist Choice pins were not ALL present for the cruise and some people will have to have them mailed to their home.

Some news on the November Cruise. Seems it will be LIMITED to under 300 attendee's!!! You will have a $25.00 event fee and get a limited edition pin and a T-shirt. Seems the WDW formula is headed to the High Seas!

Well it is 2AM and I have to be off the boat in 4 hours so I will get the pictures sent to Joette tomorrow evening with a final wrap up.

The pin traders are comin home! A little poorer for the pins, Richer for the Friends and Tired as all heck!

Look Out Disney World...HERE COME THE PIN TRADERS !!!

Hmm good thing we have LOTS of rooms for all the pins !

Until Next time we See Donald and Huey .....C-ya Real Soon !
