Wristband guidelines are as follows:
Wristbands will be distributed entitling bearers to the opportunity to purchase a limited edition pin released in association with Pin Trading Nights. Wristbands for pins will be distributed near the West Esplanade Guest Information Kiosk one hour prior to park opening until one hour past the opening of Disneyland® Park. Wristbands will then be available at the location until 12 Noon or while supplies last. In addition, holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase a pin must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line. Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pins at the designated
merchandise location until 1:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Wristbands
are limited. At 1:00 P.M. any remaining pins will be available for
purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have
not previously purchased the pin(s) on the day of release. Lost, stolen
or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash
value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice. |

Happy Halloween Haunted Mansion The Mansion itself glows in the dark and is accented by what looks like a white moon in the background and a darker teal. Gus is done in black with light blue and is hitchhiking as usual, hoping to thumb a ride onto a doom buggy. Gus is a Pin on Pin element. Month of Release WDW Hidden Mickey pins.
The "First Month of Release" references the first time
a particular pin will be made available for trade. Guests that attended
Disney's Pin Celebration 2008 will see 12 familiar looking pins. Remember,
the availability of any Hidden Mickey pin is subject to change without
notice. There will be additional designs. For now, WDW is focused
on these first 24 pins from Assortment III. The most important thing to remember is that not every location or
Cast Member has received these pins for trade. The pins were introduced
to select locations today. Additional locations will receive these
pins throughout the rest of October. The food items are found in Mickey's Tootown® Fair and the "D"
Flag is at the entrance to Magic Kingdom® Park Steven also told us that one of the "Fun Icons," the survey marker, was inspired by a Cast Member named Tito Concepcion who works at Disney's Boardwalk Resort in Bell Services. "Tito submitted the idea for a 'Survey Marker' pin during the 2008 Cast Member Create-A-Pin contest. This annual contest allows Disney Cast Members to submit one idea for a pin they would like to see. We held the 2008 contest in July 2007, and I held on to his idea until now." Tito's original artwork for the 2008 Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest. While Tito was not selected as a winner for the 2008 contest, Steven thought his idea had bigger application. "Winners of the Create-A-Pin contest have their designs turned into a limited edition, Cast Exclusive pin. Tito's idea wasn't destined for the 'limited edition' world; it would make a great Hidden Mickey pin. I, too, remember seeing these survey markers at various locations throughout Walt Disney World® Resort. I love the creative energy that is found in all Cast Members and this is a great example of that energy." Steven mentioned that as a token of appreciation Tito will receive an Artist Proof pin of the Survey Marker. Next time you are visiting Disney's Boardwalk Resort make sure you stop and say "hello" to Tito. |
