Event Gifts!!

White, 100% cotton Tee shirt has the DISNEY DAY CAMPIN' 2008 / Mickey's Pin Odyssey logo on left front chest only, nothing on the back. Maroon shoestring lanyard with plastic event credentials attached has Mickey's left arm as a spinner to point at whichever direction one wishes. Five (5) tabs will be broken off and used for the 5 trading opportunities. The back has the event itinerary. Subject to change without notice. -------------------------------------------------- Artist Bio When I was young I used to escape to my room and draw all day. I would draw all kinds of things but mostly animals and Disney characters. Who knew I'd still be doing that today! After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Penn State University, I moved to Florida to see what Walt Disney World had to offer. I started my Disney career in '92 as a seasonal Cast Member for the Easter parade. After that I transferred to a Full-time position at the Disney MGM-Studios as a tour guide for the Backstage Studio Tour. After about two years of bouncing around the park, working at different attractions and events, I landed a job with Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida in the Ink and Paint Department. From there I moved my way up and obtained a job as a Final Checker. This is where I had the chance to make one of my dreams come true and work on the animated film& "Mulan." Now I am living out my biggest dream of being a Disney Artist. Working with the Disney Design Group and being part of this diverse, creative and talented group of artists (and fellow Disney geeks) is probably one of the most rewarding and exciting things to have ever happened to me. Every day I gain a greater respect and love for what I do and who I do it for. In my sixteen years with Disney I have seen, learned, experienced, and achieved more than I ever though possible.

Dayton Disneyana 2008 This Weekend!!!

The Dayton (Plane Crazy chapter of the NFFC, the club for Disney enthusiasts, is pleased to announce that the 6 annual Dayton Disneyana pin trading and collectibles event will be held on Saturday June 21 and Sunday, June 22, 2008. J Eddie Carroll, the voice of Jiminy Cricket, will be appearing on Saturday, June 21, 2008, available to sign autographs. As in past years, Saturday will be primarily devoted to pin trading and games, including “Pin Trading by the Pond” with Tom Tumbusch, President of Tomart Corporation, publisher of the Disneyana Update Magazine and the Disney Pin Trading Guides. Disneyana vendors will be selling pins and collectibles on Saturday from 11am-5pm with a special early bird admission at 10am. Drawings for prizes will take place every 30 minutes throughout the day. Sunday will be a strictly Disneyana show & sale of pins and other collectibles, scheduled from 10am-3pm, with space set aside for pin trading. An LE 100 pin for the event will be available to purchase as long as supplies last. All events will be held in the spacious atrium lobby of the new Trent Arena, adjacent to Kettering, Ohio Fairmont High School, located at 3301 Shroyer Road, Kettering, Ohio 45429. www.trentarena.com On Saturday, pin traders will have an opportunity to sign up, in small groups, to trade with a special pin board and meet Tom. Several different pin games will be scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, including the always popular white elephant LE pin game. Early bird admission is Saturday at 10am at a cost of $15 at the door, just $10 if you pre-register by June 7, 2007. The first 100 people who register will receive a complimentary event pin. Pre-registration details will be posted at www.daytondisneyana.org. Regular admission at 11am Saturday and 10am on Sunday is $5 per person, $10 per family, children 12 and under are free. NFFC members pay only $4 with valid ID. Parking is free. Vendor tables for Saturday or Sunday will be available at a cost of $55 for one table a day, or $75 for both days.
