Disney's Soda Fountain and Studio Store takes it's show on the road on July 20th and will have pins for sale at the NFFC (National Fantasy Fan Club) Convention. I Note: This is a fan held event and will only be open exclusively to NFFC Convention Guests from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. After 11:00 a.m, the general public will be admitted. The NFFC (National Fantasy Fan Club) is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with, The Walt Disney Company, Disney Enterprises, Inc., or any of their affiliates. These pins will be released at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located in
Garden Grove, California on July 20th, 2008 starting at 9:00 a.m (NFFC
Members) and 11:00 a.m. (General Public).

 Four limited edition pins will be released and other merchandise will be made available for sale to NFFC members and the public by the Disney Employee Center at the Strictly Disneyana Show and Sale in Garden Grove this Sunday, July 20th. The Disney Employee Center, a store for Disney cast members with locations at the Walt Disney Studios and the Disney Channel Building in Burbank, have created four pins for release at the Show and Sale, including a pin featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit; all four pins will be limited to an edition of 300. The Disney Employee Center will also be offering other limited edition pins that they have released in the last two weeks, T-shirts, and other merchandise usually available only to Disney cast members to our Show and Sale attendees. The Employee Center will be just one of many vendors offering a wide variety of rare and unusual Disney-related items at the event, so please join us - this promises to be one event that Disneyana fans won't want to miss! |

 Mickey's of Glendale will be joining us at the NFFC Strictly Disneyana Show and Sale on Sunday, July 20th, offering a series of pins exclusive to the Show and Sale as well as other items normally available only to Walt Disney Imagineering cast members. Imagineer exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase from Mickey's of Glendale , the employee store for Walt Disney Imagineering. Mickey's sells to the general public only twice a year, so this is an excellent opportunity to stock up on Imagineer goods you can't find anywhere else. The merchandise assortment includes limited edition pins, bolo lanyards, souvenirs, apparel, caps, office, home, and more.
New items to be featured this Sunday include Toy Story Midway Mania! grand opening merchandise, retro WED Imagineering product, and special attraction-based apparel. Exclusive to the NFFC, Mickey's of Glendale will release a series of pins based on popular attractions and characters featured in the Disney Parks and Resorts. These pins will only be available for purchase during the day of event. |

 Cindy did some close examinations of these pins and noted that the inside of the Passport Pin has a spelling error.
The passport pin opens up to show the inside of Mickey's passport. There are designations written in English and French about his nationality, place of birth and passport number. The first portion is written in English, and note that "Passport" is misspelled "Passoport". Thanks for the investigative work, Cindy!! |
