Event: Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest Winners Pin Release &
Signing The three "Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest Winners" will be on hand for a special appearance and signing as the DLR celebrates the release of their designs being chosen and the remarkable pins that have been produced from them. Please note wristband distribution guidelines below. Limit two pins per Guest, per style. The pins being released in conjunction with this event are as follows:
Limit TWO (2) pins signed per Artist, per Guest. Special Guest Artist will only sign their respective pins. Wristband guidelines are as follows: Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pins at the designated merchandise location until 1:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Wristbands are limited. At 1:00 P.M. any remaining pins will be available for purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the pin(s) on the day of release. Theme park admission required. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice.  This pin appeared on Disneypins.com for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the release of this pin was canceled at the last minute due to some unforeseen production challenges. The pin was originally created to "celebrate" June 7, 2008. Why this date you ask? Written another way - 6/7/08 or 6/7/8 WDW thought it was pretty funny and wished they could have offered the pin for purchase. This pin will be part of the Silent Auction for the 2008 Pin Celebration and this lot will contain the only two official 6/7/08 pins received at Disney Pin HQ. Disney never received any final production pins as the project was canceled. The rest of the auction lots will be posted around August 5, 2008 (about a month out from the start of this event). |

To follow up on last evening's news in which we featured
DCL Casatway Club Gift Pin # 1, we now present Pin # 2.
The pin is limited to 500. This pin was sent to a Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club member about two weeks after taking a 3 day cruise. They received the pin for being repeat guests. The pin was shipped to their home address with a letter thanking them for being repeat cruisers. The letter goes like this.... Dear xxxxxx Family, Welcome back home! We hope you enjoyed your Bahamian voyage as much as we enjoyed having you as our Guest. (Which is a whole lot.) Now that you're going to be shoreside for a bit, we wanted to send you something special to help remember your latest cruise. We hope you enjoy this original Castaway Club cloisonné pin. It's the first in a series of three pins created exclusively for repeat cruisers like you. A very limited edition of only 500 pins were cast featuring Mickey & Minnie relaxing in a giant porthole window. We hope you enjoy this highly collectible memento.
