Chinese New Year 2008
Year of the Rat Dressed as a familiar looking mouse, Rizzo the Rat celebrates Chinese New Year 2008 - the year of the rat - while a puzzled Mickey Mouse looks on. | There has been much discussion and many inquiries
into the WDW Monorail pins, both the Cast Lanyard Monorail Pins and the
Hidden Mickey Monorail Pins. There are a total of 12 monorails pins for each of the 12 colors featured on the Monorails. The colors are:
According to Steven Miller, Project Manager for Disney Pin Trading at the Walt Disney World® Resort, "The first four colors - red, black, blue and green - were introduced as 'Cast Lanyard Pins' during 2004-2005. The next four colors - yellow, silver, purple and orange - were introduced as 'Cast Lanyard Pins' in 2005-2006. In 2006, the name of these pins was changed from 'Cast Lanyard Pins' to 'Hidden Mickey Pins,' and reintroduced the eight colors with a new backstamp of 'Hidden Mickey Pin.'
