...once again this year, thanks to the Pin Santa, we are pleased to
present the Dizpins Twas the Night Before Christmas....

was The Night Before Christmas and all through the site, Not a Collector was posting, they were all tucked in tight. They had read the news page with excitement and glee, In hopes there would be a new pin waiting under the tree. The trade posts were made with the utmost care, Everyone hoped their Pin Santa gift soon would be there. The pins were now wrapped and under the tree, What pin did I get? Who chose one for me? With Friends on the East Coast and Friends in the West, They knew that this Christmas would just be the best! When up on the screen something sprang up so fast, What magic unfolded? What spell had been cast? Away to the Dizpins window I flew like a flash, What? Http Error? ... Oh I put in a dash! The screen was bright and gave such a glow, There were tiny snowflakes...were they put there by Jo? When what to my wondering eyes should appear? But a little red hat and I could see one black ear! With his little black nose and big beautiful eyes, I knew it was MICKEY! Oh what a surprise! More rapid than a cable connection his Characters all came, He giggled and laughed as he called them by name. Now Minnie, Now Figment, Now Goofy and Dumbo, Come On Donald Come On Daisy, and don't forget Pluto! To the message boards, to the posts, hurry and read them all, Now hurry! Hurry! Hurry up all! They are looking for Disney Pins, should they trade or buy, But there was something special here, and they all wondered why. So onto the boards these Characters they flew, With warm wishes for all and Mickey there too! And then in a twinkling I saw on the site, They smiled at each of the posts made on that nite. As I opened the page and was looking around, Down from the trade boards Mickey came with a bound. He was dressed like Santa from his head to his toe, And Minnie looked so cute with her Christmastime bow. They spoke not a word, but when straight to their job, They were reading the posts and started to sob. What a WONDERFUL group, so kind and so caring. Can you all believe how much they are all sharing? Together they all laugh and yes, they may cry, Together they share and never ask why. And laying a finger aside of the screen, they were gone in a flash.......nowhere to be seen. But I heard him exclaim as he vanished from the site, Merry Christmas to a Great Dizpins Family, and to All a Good Night! Thanks Pin Santa!!

Disney's Pin Celebration 2009 - The Museum of Pin-tiquities June 26-28, 2009 Epcot® - World ShowPlace

Disney Pin Traders from around the world are cordially invited to celebrate the "10,000" year history of Disney Pin Trading during Disney's Pin Celebration 2009 - The Museum of Pin-tiquities. This three-day, grand opening gala will be held from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, 2009 in World Showplace at Epcot®. Presented in conjunction with the Epcot® Committee For Celebrating Disney Pins, The Department of Tradeology and Fellowship of Happy Traders, this event will feature unique Disney pins created for the Museum's opening, Disney pin trading activities, a silent and live auction of artifacts direct from the Museum's vault and much more. New Disney Rewards Visa Cardmember Pin for 2009

This new VISA spinner open edition pin is now available at Disney's Pin Traders at DTD and Pin Central at Epcot in WDW. The pin retails for $8.95 and Cardmembers must show their Disney VISA card in order to purchase the pin. This pin will be available at DLR on January 11, 2009. Online ordering should be available sometime in January, so keep checking this link.
