Disney Design Group Graphic Artist, Monty Maldovan will be on hand for a special appearance and signing of his Featured Artist jumbo pin titled "Disneyland Rose" featuring Tinker Bell amongst the Disneyland Roses as she flies from blossom to blossom with the Sleeping Beauty Castle in the background. In addition, also being released is an Artist Choice pin featuring Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Donald as their band performs a set at on the Tomorrowland Terrace stage as well as Tink A-Go-Go and Route 55 Mickey. Please note wristband distribution guidelines below. Pin purchasing limits may apply.

Wristband guidelines are as follows:

Wristbands will be distributed entitling bearers to the opportunity to purchase limited edition pins released in association with the "Featured Artist" product release and signing. Wristbands for pins will be distributed near the West Esplanade Guest Information Kiosk one hour prior to park opening until one hour past the opening of Disneyland® park. Wristbands will then be available at the location until 12 Noon or while supplies last. In addition, holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase a pin must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line.

Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pins at the designated merchandise location until 1:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Wristbands are limited. At 1:00 P.M. any remaining pins will be available for purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the pin(s) on the day of release. Theme park admission required. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice.

Artist Bio:

When I was young I used to escape to my room and draw all day. I would draw all kinds of things but mostly animals and Disney characters. Who knew I'd still be doing that today! After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Penn State University, I moved to Florida to see what Walt Disney World had to offer. I started my Disney career in '92 as a seasonal Cast Member for the Easter parade. After that I transferred to a Full-time position at the Disney MGM-Studios as a tour guide for the Backstage Studio Tour. After about two years of bouncing around the park, working at different attractions and events, I landed a job with Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida in the Ink and Paint Department. From there I moved my way up and obtained a job as a Final Checker. This is where I had the chance to make one of my dreams come true and work on the animated film& "Mulan." Now I am living out my biggest dream of being a Disney Artist. Working with the Disney Design Group and being part of this diverse, creative and talented group of artists (and fellow Disney geeks) is probably one of the most rewarding and exciting things to have ever happened to me. Every day I gain a greater respect and love for what I do and who I do it for. In my thirteen years with Disney I have seen, learned, experienced, and achieved more than I ever though possible.

Where Dreams Come True ~ Pixie Dust Pin ~ Version 3
This is the third version of the Tinker Bell Pixie Dust Pin Pack Pin. The first version is listed under # 50070, second version is listed under # 52755.
Beginning in October 2006, Disney Cast Members and Guests at Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort will have a new way to create magical memories for others in the place Where Dreams Come True. Pixie Dust Pin Packs feature two Tinker Bell pins. These pins are presented spontaneously by Cast Members to Guests who are observed performing random acts of magic for others at Disney Parks.

Once awarded a Pixie Dust Pin Pack, Guests are invited to keep one pin and share the second pin with another Guest they see creating magic.

"Dream-tacular" Pins

As part of Disney's Pin Celebration 2007, a "dream-tacular" collection of Limited Edition pins will be released. Following the success of last year's event pins, WDW has placed these pins into three separate categories:

Dream Attractions - See what "hapPins" when the world famous Disney characters and friends take over Disney attractions

Dream Roles - Imagine what "hapPins" when the world famous Disney characters assume their dream roles.

Dreams Come True - Dreams "hapPin" to come true for the world famous Disney characters.
There will be several Framed Sets (including a Figment-themed set that Figment fans will love), boxed pin sets and a mystery tin collection.

*Disney's Pin Celebration 2007 is a private, hard-ticket event that will be held in Epcot® during regular park hours. Theme Park admission to Epcot® is not included in the price of event admission, but is required for attendance.

DLR Cast Exclusive Pin of the Month

This is the Cast Exclusive Pin of the Month for May 2007. It features Critter Country written on a "wooden plaque" with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet on the right hand side of the pin. Above Winnie and Piglet is Splash Mountain and on the right side of the pin is Brer Rabbit with his red and white polka dot handkerchief satchel slung over his shoulder. Below the wooden sign of Critter Country are 2 "wooden logs" with the words Hungry Bear Restaurant written in white. Behind the wooden plaque are two yellow baseball bats crossing each other. Below the Hungry Bear Restaurant logs, Disneyland Resort is written in a blue field.
