DLR Cast Exclusive Pins Released!!

Yesterday was the 4th of July so that means a DLR CM Working Day Pin came out. This year it is round. The top of the circle is blue and says July 4, 2007. Below that is Sleeping Beauty Castle with the American Flag behind it. Below that is a white cloud that says Disneyland Resort Where Dreams Come True. Disney Design Group Graphic Artist, Rachael Sur will make a special appearance to sign the next installment for our summer pin festival. This collection is the fifth week in the series for Mickey's Pin Festival of Dreams entitled, "Where the Streets Have Character" and includes a limited edition card with pin featuring Mickey Mouse sketching the Sleeping Beauty Castle, a limited edition Tinker Bell pin, and open edition pins that depict characters Mike & Sulley from Monsters, Inc., Roger & Jessica Rabbit, and Mickey Mouse with Huey, Dewey & Louie. The WDW Disney Pin Trading Team is excited to offer a special promotion starting July 1, 2007 at Disney's Pin Traders located at the Downtown Disney® Marketplace. For every $35.00 spent on Disney Pins or Disney Trading Accessories at Disney's Pin Traders only, Guests can add one (1) special "Cast Lanyard Pin" to their purchase for $1.00.* Guests may select their desired pin(s) from a special pin assortment of four pins. These special "Cast Lanyard Pins" are direct from the Disney Pin Vault. The designs were created for the first collection of "Cast Lanyard Pins" (now known as "Hidden Mickey Pins") in 2002. These pins were sampled but never ordered or distributed for trading at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Guests had a sneak preview of these pins at Disney's Pin Celebration 2004 - A Family Pin Gathering. "We had a great response from Guests the first time we introduced this promotion in Spring 2006," said Steven Miller, Project Manager for Disney Pin Trading. "We wanted Guests to have another opportunity to add these pins to their collections." Four pins from the original ten designs were carefully selected for this promotion based on Guest feedback. WDW Cast 2007 Spring Cross-U Pin

Pirate's Of The Caribbean Edition Size: 3150 Created especially for Disney Cast Members at the Walt Disney World® Resort, this Limited Edition pin features a skull and swords. The pin was given to Cast Members to recognize participation in the Spring 2007 Cross-U. The pin was awarded by Erin Wallace, Senior Vice President of Walt Disney World® Operations. The pin is mounted on a backer card with a thank you message from Erin. The number "07LO0190" on the backstamp reference an internal order number.
