The Scoop! - The Haunted Mansion
Playing the role of Scoop Sanderson, Main Street, U.S.A.® Gazette reporter, Mickey Mouse gets the "scoop" in this unique, pin-of-the month collection. In each limited edition pin, Mickey will reveal fun facts or interesting tidbits about classic Disney attractions. In this limited edition pin, Mickey reports on an eerily familiar
voice emanating from The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom® Park.
The pin is mounted on a backer card that resembles the The Main Street
Gazette newspaper. The back of the card contains the rest of the story.
The pin features Mickey in a Doombuggy passing through a familiar
haunted scene. The Doombuggy is a pin-on-pin element. Rachael Sur

present the Dizpins Twas the Night Before Christmas....

The Night Before Christmas and all through the site,Not a Collector was posting, they were all tucked in tight. They had read the news page with excitement and glee, In hopes there would be a new pin waiting under the tree. The trade posts were made
with the utmost care, The pins were now wrapped
and under the tree, With Friends on the East
Coast and Friends in the West, When up on the screen something
sprang up so fast, Away to the Dizpins window
I flew like a flash, The screen was bright and
gave such a glow, When what to my wondering
eyes should appear? With his little black nose
and big beautiful eyes, More rapid than a cable connection
his Characters all came, Now Minnie, Now Figment,
Now Goofy and Dumbo, To the message boards, to
the posts, hurry and read them all, They are looking for Disney
Pins, should they trade or buy, So onto the boards these
Characters they flew, And then in a twinkling I
saw on the site, As I opened the page and
was looking around, He was dressed like Santa
from his head to his toe, They spoke not a word, but
when straight to their job, What a WONDERFUL group, so
kind and so caring. And laying a finger aside
of the screen, But I heard him exclaim as
he vanished from the site, Thanks Pin Santa!! |

Surprise Pin Released at DLRP Dro'Pin

 This is the one event pin that was released during the Dro'Pin event in DLRP on December 22nd, 2007. This event commemorated the opening of the Tower of Terror attraction in the Disney Studios park in Paris and was held in Studio 1 of the Disney Studios. This pin was first given as a reward for entering the tombola/raffle, and later sold, but only at the event. The pin was sold out during the evening. The design of this pin is very much like the DLRP Pin Trading Night
(PTN) pins, and it's the second pin NOT officially in this series,
which fits in it nicely anyway. The first was pin 40962: Pin Trading
Day 2005 (Maleficent). |

This holiday season you'll be covered in snowflakes
with our Hidden Mickey Winter 2007 pin promotion, featuring some of
Disney's most beloved characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse,
Tinker Bell, Flora, Fauna and Merriweather, among others.
Guests staying at a Disneyland® Resort Hotel will receive specially designed Hidden Mickey pins to trade. Guests will receive one (1) hotel pin pack per reservation at Disneyland® Resort Hotels during this special promotional period. The pin pack contains randomly selected Hidden Mickey pins. This promotion will end on January 6, 2008. There are 12 different pins in all. Guests can trade their pins with other Disneyland® Resort Guests or Cast Members wearing Disney Pin Trading accessories. |
