Five Decades of Dining Come To A "Goofy"
Conclusion!
In May 1998, the "new" Tomorrowland invited Guests to enjoy "space-age dining" at Redd Rockett's Pizza Port. According to intergalactic legend, Redd Rockett was a space pilot who searched the planets for the most delicious pizza in the universe. Not finding any to his liking, he decided to open up his own "pizza port." His restaurant now sits on the launching pad of the former Mission to Mars attraction. Showcasing Redd Rockett's Pizza Port, the final pin in the Annual Passholder "Five Decades of Disney Dining" series will be released on Sunday, September 17, 2006. Featuring "Spaceman" Goofy and his box artwork from the 1955 Disneyland guidebook, this special collectors' pin will be provided with each single food purchase of $30 (before tax and after any applicable discount), at the participating locations below. Cast Members MUST park in Disney-MGM Studios Cast Parking located in the Main Guest parking lot. Cast Members should enter through the Cast Costuming building. Soundstage 1 is located on Mickey Avenue, next to the former location of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - Play It! Attraction. Entry to Soundstage 1 will be through the Backstage Roll Down Door.
