Walt Disney Originals Collection - Walt Disney's The Enchanted Tiki Room The Walt Disney Originals Collection pays tribute to Walt Disney's pioneering achievements in great family entertainment. A new Limited Edition pin will be released each month throughout 2006. This Limited Edition pin celebrates Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. This Adventureland® Attraction opened on June 23, 1963 at Disneyland® park. It was the first attraction to feature sophisticated Audio-Animatronic® Figures. This Limited Edition pin features Jose, one of the Enchanted Tiki Room birds, and Walt Disney pictured in a pin-on-pin Enchanted Tiki Room hut. As Walt Disney "wakes up" Jose, the bird moves from side to side. The Enchanted Tiki Room hut is made of PVC. This pin was designed by Disney Design Group Artist Glenn Winters. Countdown to Expedition Everest - Day 1
Ancient legend holds that high in the Himalayan Mountains lives an enormous creature that fiercely guards the route to Mount Everest. This collection of six Limited Edition pins documents Mickey Mouse and Goofy's adventurous trek to Mt. Everest. A new pin will be released each day until the grand opening on April 7, 2006 at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. This collection was designed by Garrett Webb from Disney Design Group. This Limited Edition pin features Day 1. Mickey and Goofy are at the base camp in the mythical village of Serka Zong with Mt. Everest in the background. They are excited for the upcoming expedition. Mickey Mouse is a pin-on-pin. Stay tuned for updated release information. Limit of two pins, per Guest, per day. All pins are available while supplies last. A collection of unique Limited Edition pins has been developed to celebrate the Grand Opening of this exciting new adventure. A "Countdown to Everest" collection will "count down" to the Grand Opening starting April 1. A different pin will be released each day - Day 1 - Day 6 - leading up to the Grand Opening. On April 7, 2006, a Limited Edition Grand Opening pin and Jumbo pin will be released. Below is information on Wristband Distribution for the Countdown to Everest pins, the Grand Opening 2006 pin and the Jumbo Grand Opening 2006 pin. Please note that a different wristband will be distributed each day for each pin. The Grand Opening and Jumbo Pins will also have two different wristbands distributed on April 7. WRISTBAND DISTRIBUTION Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pin at the Mandala Hut located at the entrance to Asia at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Wristbands are valid until 1:00 p.m. on the day of distribution only. At 1:00 p.m., any remaining pins will be available for purchase at the Mandala Hut location by Guests who have not previously purchased the pin(s) on the day of release. Holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Theme park admission to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is required. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced.
