Disney Design Group Graphic Artist, Alex Maher will make a special appearance to sign a new Super Jumbo Pin to add to your pirate pin collection. This amazing 5 inch pin captures the buccaneer spirit as we see some of our beloved Disney characters playing pirate on a remote desert isle. Captain Mickey Mouse is depicted as he instructs his trusty pup Pluto to carefully dig a hole for the treasure at the exact spot indicated by Mickey's map. Goofy and Donald Duck struggle to bring the treasure chest ashore as a colorfully plumed parrot calls out from his perch in a nearby palm tree. Please note wristband distribution guidelines below. Artist Bio The first couple of months were the toughest until I finally got "my foot in the door" when I showed several drawings to the Character Art Manager at Walt Disney Attractions Merchandise. I began doing character art on a free lance basis. Although I was doing what I truly loved, I felt like an outsider. I still wasn't an employee of Walt Disney's company. Finally on December 6, 1993, I achieved my life-long dream by being hired on as a Senior Character Artist at Walt Disney Attractions Merchandise! |

Created especially for Disney Cast Members at the Walt Disney World® Resort, this Limited Edition 3000 pin features Lady and Tramp from Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp. The pin was given to Cast Members on July 17th to recognize participation in the Summer 2006 Cross-U season during the Happiest Celebration On Earth. The pin was awarded by Lee Cockerell, Executive Vice President of Walt Disney World® Operations. The pin is mounted on a blue backer card with a thank you message from Lee. The number "06LO0266" on the backstamp reference an internal order number. |
