The Children's Festival (or Boy's festival) of Japan,
as traditional Japanese said as "Tango-no-Sekku" . For the
month of May, Japan celebrates its children. The celebration in general
is called “Children’s Day,” and it stresses the importance
of the child essence. On this day, the parents of the children show
their respect as well as love and appreciation, as do the children
towards their parents. On Children’s Day, two festivals take
place, one for boys and one for girls. The boys festival is called
Tango-no-Sekku, and “it is Japan’s way of celebrating the
healthy growth and development of her young boys”.

the Hollywood Walk of Fame, right out in front of Disney’s Soda
Fountain and Studio Store!
To celebrate Pooh’s great honor, the Disney Soda Fountain
& Studio Store has come up with a new limited edition Winnie-the-Pooh
& Friends pin (only 300!) with pin-on-pin Piglet. The pin will
sell for $10.95 starting Tuesday, April 11, while supplies last.
Vouchers won’t be used for this sales event. DSF opens at 9:30 am in the morning on Tuesday, April 11; however, because of the Star Ceremony, access into the Store may be limited prior to the Ceremony. Phone orders are accepted, limit 2 pins per person, while supplies last beginning Tuesday April 11, 2006. If you’d like to be part of this exciting moment for Pooh and watch Pooh’s Star Ceremony, it is suggested that you arrive between 10:00 am - 10:30 am to get a good standing space. The ceremony begins at 11:00 am and you can find easy parking in the Hollywood & Highland complex.
