Create-A-Pin - Welcome
The Walt Disney World® Resort Pin Trading Team held a "Create-A-Pin" contest for Cast Members in late 2005. Six winning entries were selected following a rigorous review process by the Pin Team and Disney Design Group Artists. Three pins will be Open Edition and three will be Limited Edition. The winning designs were selected based on originality, creativity, aesthetics, spirit and spirit of design. This six pin collection will be released throughout 2006. This Limited Edition pin was designed by Jon Pinto. The pin features Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy attempting to get through a door at one time. Mickey, Donald and Goofy's heads are pins-on-pin. To celebrate Pooh’s great honor, the Disney Soda Fountain &
Studio Store has come up with a new limited edition Winnie-the-Pooh
& Friends pin (only 300!) with pin-on-pin Piglet. The pin will
sell for $10.95 starting Tuesday, April 11, while supplies last. Vouchers
won’t be used for this sales event. DSF opens at 9:30 am in the morning on Tuesday, April 11; however, because of the Star Ceremony, access into the Store may be limited prior to the Ceremony. Phone orders are accepted, limit 2 pins per person, while supplies last beginning Tuesday April 11, 2006. Countdown to Expedition Everest - Day 2
Ancient legend holds that high in the Himalayan Mountains lives an enormous creature that fiercely guards the route to Mount Everest. This collection of six Limited Edition pins documents Mickey Mouse and Goofy's adventurous trek to Mt. Everest. A new pin will be released each day until the grand opening on April 7, 2006 at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. This collection was designed by Garrett Webb from Disney Design Group.
