Dave Smith Collection - Disneyland® Park Opens Dave Smith, director of the Walt Disney Company Archives and long-time Disney Historian, has selected the top 20 moments in Disney Theme Park History. This pin celebrates the opening of Disneyland® Park. This Limited Edition pin features Mickey Mouse in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland® Park. This pin is a spinner which spins from Mickey Mouse-shaped balloons during the day to fireworks at night. The "Dave Smith Medallion" is a pin-on-pin. Ryan Lorlei from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin. It is #2 out of 20 in the Dave Smith collection. Dave says, "Disneyland®, the first theme park, opened in Anaheim, California on July 17, 1955." "Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest Winners" Pin Release & Signing Tomorrow ~ Saturday, June 4, 2005 ~ 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. World of Disney®, Downtown Disney® District

The three "Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest Winners" will be on hand for a special appearance and signing as the DLR celebrates the release of their designs being chosen and the remarkable pins that have been produced from them. Please note wristband distribution guidelines below. Limit two pins per Guest, per style. The pins being released in conjunction with this event are as follows: "Hey Wanna Trade?" Created by Store Operations Cast Member, Daniel Krafcisin, this pin features Stitch, as he asks "Hey, Wanna Trade?" This pin is limited to an edition size of 1,000 and will be offered for $10.50, plus tax. Fifty Years of Building Character Created by Disney's California Adventure Park Attractions Cast Member, Brian Robb, this pin features some of Disney's most beloved characters, strategically placed to re-create Sleeping Beauty Castle. This pin is limited to an edition size of 1,000 and will be offered for $10.50, plus tax. Mickey & Pluto Created by Disney's California Adventure Park Attractions Cast Member, Kristina Marroquin, this pin features Mickey as he accompanies Pluto on a walk. This pin is limited to an edition size of 1,000 and will be offered for $10.50, plus tax. Limit TWO (2) pins signed per Artist, per Guest. Special Guest Artist will only sign their respective pins. WRISTBAND DISTRIBUTION Wristbands will be distributed entitling bearers to the opportunity to purchase limited edition pins released in association with the Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest Winners pin release and signing. Guests wishing to obtain a wristband to purchase the "limited-edition" pins, will not be permitted to wait in line prior to 6:00 a.m. Wristbands for pins will be distributed on the day of release one hour prior to the opening of Disneyland® park in the West Esplanade Tram Drop-off area located near the Guest Information Kiosk. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase a pin must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line. In addition, holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Wristbands will be distributed until 12 Noon or while supplies last. Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pins at the designated merchandise location until 1:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Wristbands are limited. At 1:00 P.M. any remaining pins will be available for purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the pin(s) on the day of release. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice. No wish list will be taken for this event. The DLR asks that you bring no personal items to be signed. Artist appearances are subject to space and time availability and are not guaranteed. Event information subject to change without notice.

Update: The edition sizes of the 2005 Panama Canal Return Crossing Cruise from August 20 through September 3, 2005 have been changed. The edition sizes have been increased from 500 to 2600, with the exception of the Jumbo Pin, which is 1000 and the Artist Illustration. The edition size of the Logo Pin has also been increased from 1000 to 2600.

Cast Member Exclusive Pin Happiest Celebration On Earth ~ Mickey Nametag To Be Released at WDW Tomorrow Friday June 3, 2005
	A new Walt Disney World® Cast Member name tag was introduced for the Happiest Celebration On Earth. This Open Edition Cast Member Exclusive pin features a smaller version of that nametag with the name "Mickey." This pin will be released at all Company D locations and will only be sold to Cast Members and certain other employees of the Walt Disney World® Resort. Retail Price: $5.00 $6.50
