This Limited Edition Surprise pin celebrates the Mark II Disneyland® Resort monorail. The Mark II was introduced in 1961 when the beam from Tomorrowland® was extended to the Disneyland® Hotel. This spinner pin features Monorail Blue. At the time, it was the first monorail in the country to actually cross a public street. The pin was designed by Dawn Ockstadt from Disney Design Group. A Cast Pin Party will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Cast Connection at Property Control. Special trading activities will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; the SALSA Sale will run from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Non-Magic Kingdom Region Cast Members and their Guests MUST park
at STOL Port and use the Shuttle Bus to Property Control. Parking
will be strictly enforced. Cast Members are allowed to bring up to
6 Guests per valid Cast ID. Guests will not be eligible to purchase
Cast Exclusive pins or receive free Limited Edition pin. Cast Members with valid a Walt Disney World® ID will receive one (1) coupon to purchase the Cinderella - 2005 Cast Pin Party pin and one (1) coupon to purchase the Simba - 2005 Cast Pin Party pin (both pins are Limited Edition 1500). Sotheby's to Auction "Celebrate
Mickey: 75 InspEARations" Statues

Since November 2003, 75 uniquely designed Mickey
Mouse statues have traveled the United States in honor of Mickey Mouse's
75th anniversary. The "Celebrate Mickey: 75 InspEARations"
statues have now finished touring the United States, and will be auctioned
at Sotheby's auction house on September 27, with the proceeds benefiting
multiple charities.
The statues, which measure 6-feet-tall and weigh 700 pounds each,
were designed by famous athletes, artists and celebrities, including
Jamie Lee Curtis, Ellen DeGeneres, James Gandolfini, Tom Hanks, Michelle
Kwan and Kelly Ripa. |

of Disney Dining (Golden Horseshoe) Pin # 2 Now Available

 Second in the series, this pin features Daisy in purple
and Minnie in blue dressed as Can-Can dancers with a large golden horseshoe
behind them and a root beer float in the middle. The logo of the Golden
Horseshoe sits below them. This dining pin is limited to Annual Passholders
who made single food purchase of $30.00 or more (after tax and any discounts)
at selected restaurants throughout DLR. It comes in a keepsake box.
The pin sits on a painted scene of the entrance to Frontierland and
has a matte around it. The back of the pin has the 50th and Pin Trading

Dave Smith Collection - First Operating Monorail Dave Smith, director of the Walt Disney Company Archives and long-time
Disney Historian, has selected the top 20 moments in Disney Theme
Park History. This pin celebrates the first operating Disney monorail.

This seems to be a pin commemorating the union of
Swarovski and Disney pins. It came in a black box with gold filigree
around the top edge. It has 2 doors that are held closed with a snap.
There is a similar
pin for sale on the Swarovski/Disney sites, but it is all crystal.

has a silver background. This pin has a gold background,
