NFFC Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale

Mark Your Calendar for the weekend of January 22nd and 23rd, 2005!!! NFFC 2005 Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale West & The "Let's Play 50 Questions" Foot Rally & Trivia Test at Disneyland Special Offer for Dizpins.com Readers!!! This is just a quick reminder that the NFFC will again be hosting the World's Largest STRICTLY Disneyana Show & Sale - on Sunday, January 23, 2005 at the spacious Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in Garden Grove, California, about 1½-miles South of the Disneyland Resort on the Southwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. It's the same hotel as last year. We'll have 150+ tables covered with every imaginable © Disney-themed collectable - old and new. From classic toys to Litho art and PVC action figures to Walt Disney Art Classics pieces - paper and buttons and mini-bean-bag plush and clothing and plates and books and decals and videos and DVDs and music and promotional items and PINS! Something for every Disney collector! It's a great time to be a Disney FAN! Show & Sale entry is $5 for NFFC members (with valid NFFC membership card or proof of membership). $6 for the general public; $5 for Disney Company Cast Members (with valid ID card) and $5 for Dizpins.com readers (who print this information and brings it along to the show!!) There is also a $25 early-bird entry for those non-NFFC members wishing to enter the show at 9:00am. Tickets for the show & sale will be sold at the door. During the Day on the 22nd we will be having the "Let's Play 50 Questions" foot rally and trivia test in Celebration of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. Break out your running shoes and put on your thinking caps - and meet at the Disneyland Picnic area at 10:00am - you will have until 9:00pm to have it completed and turned in at the Hospitality Room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Teams can have between 1 and 5 members. All team members must be NFFC Members in good standing. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. If you'd like to spend the weekend with Disney fans and friends, rooms are available at the Crowne Plaza for those who would like to do Room Hopping you can contact the hotel at 714-867-5555. Villains Cruise Chernabog Thank You Pin The pins have been mailed and here it is!!
	This pin was gifted to each attendee from the Villainous Pin Voyage. It was mailed after to the cruise as an apology for the issues surrounding the Chernabog Jumbo hinged pin that was released during the cruise in November. The back of the pin reads - Limited Edition 500 - Thank you for supporting the Villainous Voyage November 2004 - See you next year.

	Disney Road Trip Down Pin Route 498 Disney's Animal Kingdom Park Saturday, April 30, 2005
Pack your pin bags - it's time for a Disney Road Trip down Pin Route 498. We're making trades "Coast to Coast" to see the greatest roadside attractions around. Our trip ends at the wildest of places - Dinoland, U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park - for an evening celebration. Event Admission is $125 per person (Theme Park admission is not included, but is required for attendance.) Registration for this event will begin on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. (Pacific).
With registration less than a week away, we wanted to give a first look at an incredible item - "A Surfin' Road Trip." This Limited Edition sculpt was designed by Doug Strayer from Disney Design Group. The item features five pins and is titled "A Surfin' Road Trip." The pin-set commemorates Stitch's surfin' vacation across the United States to visit his pals Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. The pins are stored inside the resin sculpt; the top of the car lifts off to reveal the pins. The fifth pin is Stitch driving the car and it is mounted in the windshield. This item will have an edition size of 300 and will retail for $95.00. More items for this Event will be posted next week with the start of registration. Cowabunga!!!!

DLR Grad Night Sponsor ~ American Honda
	American Honda is now a corporate sponsor for Disneyland's Grad Night and Fireworks spectacular. To celebrate this alliance, American Honda employees received this pin. It's stamped 2004 in the back and no indication that it is a limited edition pin. The pin is 1.25" x 1.75" and what appears yellow in the artwork is actually gold on the pin.

2005 Doll & Teddy Bear Weekend March 18 - 20, 2005

Steiff Disney Bear One night Tinker Bell sprinkled fairy dust on Mickey's Bear as Mickey hugged his bear. The bear was instantly transformed with Mickey's image, and the two of them have been best friends ever since. If you look closely, you can see Mickey's image on his bear's face. The complete story of Mickey's Bear is told in the book he wears around his neck. This bear will be made in three limited edition mohair sizes and will come with a story book and a special convention pin: 37cm.--1500 pieces, 60cm.--25 pieces.. 80cm.--5 pieces.

Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale Radisson Resort Parkway in Orlando Florida Sunday, January 16, 2005

National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC) will be hosting its first Florida Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale at the Radisson Resort Parkway in Orlando at the junction of I-4 and US 192 on Sunday, January 16, 2005, from 10 am until 6 pm, located across from Celebration. Details are available at www.nffc.org. Room hopping will be available on Saturday and Sunday evenings. There is a block of rooms available at a special discounted rate of $79 per night. In conjunction with the Show & Sale, the NFFC is sponsoring a Part of Your World dinner that Sunday evening from 5 pm - 7:30 pm at the Radisson. The cost is $75 per person and space is limited to 35 people. Renowned and now retired Disney artist, Ralph Kent, will be one of the special guests. Also attending is Xiomara Wiley, one of the marketing directors at Walt Disney World who will be sharing information about new attractions in development and WDW's contributions to the 50th anniversary of Disneyland on July 17, 2005. Another special guest will be Alex Maher from the Disney Design Group, whom you will recall participated at several events on the pin cruise this year. Alex will also be speaking on Saturday evening at 7 pm about upcoming pins at Walt Disney World. This is the LE pin that will be given to each dinner guest. Of particular interest to pin traders is the fact that space will be made available for pin trading on Saturday evening in the lobby of the Radisson from 9 pm until midnight. In addition, pin trading will take place on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 - 6 pm. There will be a special room with big round tables with plenty of prize giveaways and games for pin traders. This room will be adjacent to the Show & Sale room. Pin trading will be included on a complimentary basis along with paid admission to the Show & Sale. NFFC members will be admitted free, the general public will be charged $3.00 and all Disney castmembers with valid ID get in for just $1.00. The NFFC has held its Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale in Anaheim for the past 20 years and is excited to be expanding its activities into the Orlando area. They are going to make this a yearly event.

Stitch's Magical Adventure ~ Magic Kingdom Park
Come join Stitch as he escapes on a magical adventure throughout the Magic Kingdom® Park. On Stitch's visit to the Magic Kingdom® Park, he manages to get into a little mischief while visiting attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise and others. Stitch's Magical Adventure consists of a collection of eight (8) Limited Edition pins and a logo pin. On Thursday January 6, 2005, the logo pin and the first of eight pins will be released. On each Thursday throughout January and February another pin will be released. The pins will be available for purchase at Magic Kingdom® Park at Town Square Exposition Hall and Frontierland Trading Post. Quantities are limited and available on a first come, first-served basis. Edition size and release date subject to change.

The first Cast Pin Party of 2005 will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Mickey's Retreat at Little Lake Bryan. Cast Members with valid Walt Disney World® Resort ID will receive one (1) coupon to purchase the Mickey Mouse Cast Pin Party pin (Limited Edition 1500). Limit two (2) Pins per Cast Member.** Retail $5.00. (No discount, must have valid Disney ID to purchase.
