Mickey's Pin Trading Night!!!
The reviews are in...and what a great night of pin trading was seen at the debut of Mickey's Pin Trading Night at Disney's Contemporary Resort!! The one word said by all was ...WOW!!! There was only one new rule that was established by Jim Greene, Manager, Global Merchandise Projects Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Merchandise who gave some opening comments...and that new rule was to "Have Fun"!!! And everyone sure liked that new rule!!
	Pluto was there to help with the ribbon cutting!!
The kids only trading board was a lot of fun for "kids" only...and there were also tables and coloring for all of the kids...the "young" ones that is!!
	And of course...there was pin trading!!!
Congratulations and Thanks to Disney for "Continuing the Tradition"!!!

Disney's Around the World Core Pin to be Released Tomorrow at WDW
	This is the second pin to be released in the Disney's Around the World series. This core pin will be released at the Main Street Cinema at the Magic Kingdom tomorrow, and will be available property wide one week after that release date.
These pins are part of the celebration for the opening of Disney's Around the World shop which debuted at the Main Street Cinema on March 8, 2002. This shop features merchandise and film footage from Disneyland park, the Magic Kingdom Park, Tokyo Disneyland Park and Disneyland Paris Park, along with preview merchandise from the in-development Hong Kong Disneyland Resort..

Mickey and Pals Shop released the first in a series of new pins called the History of Art Disney Pin Collection. Click on the Chips Ahoy image to see the first pins released in this series. Each is a LE of 2900.

Disney Store Kumamoto Boxed Pin Set Release

This boxed pin set was released on March 23, 2002 for the Grand Opening of Japanese Disney Store of Kumamoto Branch (Kumamoto is far west of Japan located in Kyusyu Island). This pin set retailed for 3500¥ and is a LE 700. All of pins are backstamped "LTD700".

Pin Release Date Change

The Disney Store Pin releases scheduled for tomorrow, March 23, 2002, have been postponed one week. The pins will now be released on March 30, 2002. However, as this information was sent out late, please check with your local Disney Store for verification.

Learn to Draw Mickey Tomorrow!!!!

	One Hundred Mickeys Event. Join us as we learn "How To Draw Mickey Mouse" Saturday, March 23, 2002 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. New Orleans Square, Disneyland Park
Artist & Former Walt Disney Imagineer Eric Robison will be on hand to instruct children of all ages on "How to Draw Mickey Mouse". Art supplies will be provided. Disney asks that you bring no personal items to be signed. This is not a signing event. As always, paid admission is required to enter Disneyland Park. There is no registration fee, just come and join in the fun!

Glenn and Cindy share this Very Interesting Pin featuring the "Off the Page Pluto" ...who is actually upside down!! Guess like any dog, Pluto just wanted his belly rubbed!!

Mickey's Leadership Pin

Daniel and his daughter Kerrie were given this pin while at WDW. Daniel was told that this pin is awarded to Cast Managers for demonstrating good leadership. Super Trader Now Trading!

Every Saturday and this Sunday there will be pin meets at the Disney Village "Hollywood Pictures" with super trader Stephane. And for more excitement, this weekend there will be both American and Japanese traders at the pin meet with Stephane. Come and join the fun!

Mickey says to watch those WDW CM Lanyards!!! Very soon there will be new and exciting pins on Cast Member Lanyards for guest trading that will be exclusive only to CM Lanyards. You will not see these pins for sale....so keep your eyes open!!

The pups are helping Walt Disney World Resort Guest Services Mail Order get ready to offer you LE Pins that you can order by phone!! These little guy are working their paws off to get things ready...and they tell us that all systems should be "go" on Friday March 29, 2002 for you to begin placing your orders for LE pins 30 days after the limited edition releases. You can still order the core pins now by calling 407-363-6200, and as soon as the pups get all of the information into the computers, they will let you know right here on Dizpins..so stay tuned to see the LE pins you will be able to order!! St. Pat's Pooh and Pooh and Pooh!!!

The other day, we showed you a picture of the St. Patrick's Day Pooh to be released today at WDW...and then we showed you last year's St. Patrick's Day Pooh that was released at the Disneyland Resort... and today we show you the St. Patrick's Day Pooh pin that was actually released at WDW today!! It looks like it was one of those "subject to change without notice"!!
Apparent Prototype of WDW 2002 Pin. Green shirt, red tie, purple hunny pot with blue stripe.	Released Today at WDW LE 2500 Retail $8.50 The word "Hunny" was changed to "2002".	2001 Disneyland Resort St. Patrick's Pooh LE 2000 Red shirt, green tie and blue hunny pot.

These pins were released at Mickey & Pals Store in Japan as part of the White Day series. These pins are a silver tone double hinged pin with a Heart and the words "White Day ". These pins are the same design as the gold tone pins that were released for St. Valentine Day. The Valentine series were LE 2900, but the White Day series is a LE 1500 each.

June tells us that the Mickey and Pals Shop in Japan will be starting a new pin series called the "History Art of Disney". The first release date is anticipated to around March 23, 2002. Each pin will be a LE of 2900 and there will be 10 pins released each month. Thanks June!!
